Los Altos Hills Kitchen

This empty house went from being ignored for years to becoming a welcoming Guest House after our renovation. The client asked that we make it a place that she could be proud of for her visiting family, so that’s what we set out to do. Originally, the kitchen was a long, dark (almost) galley style. Opening up the wall of the kitchen was a big part of that process (and some reconfiguring of the kitchen layout), thus making sure that it became a much more integral part of the overall new “Great Room”. Now, you can see the amazing views of the hills, interact with the rest of the family, watch the game on TV - all while standing in the kitchen. And with a minimal porcelain backsplash tile and quartz countertop that barely needs a thought, our clients don’t need to worry about maintenance and the simple look will keep up for years to come.
